I spent the first decade of my career working as a magazine editor with a focus on food and travel. Now, while that's no longer my full-time gig, I still love any chance to write about interesting places, food, and people.
I was lucky enough to spend several years covering the city I call home. My four books about Charlotte, NC were each designed to inspire Charlotteans to explore their city—and to discover new spots right in their own backyard.
Like most people, much of my travel inspiration these days comes via influencers and bloggers. I am not an influencer and I always forget to blog. But I do incessantly post photos when I travel, and I always enjoy the chance to connect on social media.
